For the weekend a coworker here in Wyoming took me to Provo, Utah. She was going home and I thought it'd be much more fun to tag along than sitting in lonely Wyoming... I'll have plenty of weekends of that this summmer!

She took us around Provo showing us many interesting sites and she as full of really good information about the area so I learned a lot. She gave us a mini-tour of the Brigham Young University campus where she went to school, we saw some really grand homes and beautiful LDS temples, and ate some awesome food.

We had breakfast at Kneaders which has the best french-toast and its all you can eat. Its really thick cinnamon bread french toast and homemade syrup. They also put strawberries and whip cream on the side. I devoured it then thought I should have photographed it because it was the best I've ever had. For lunch we went to Tucanos which is a Brazillian style buffet. It had great food on the buffet; a lot of things I had never had before. The only thing I didn't like was something with bacon and cabbage. I thought I'd like it but it was wierd. I know its plain but the cheesy mashed potatoes were my favorite. They had a lot of grilled veggies that I was able to mix with them too and every bite was different. Also, for the meat entree they carry around skewers and slice of what you want. I liked the garlic beef the best but they also had chicken, turkey, pork, pinneapple, and vegetable skewers they sliced for you as you ate.

We also went to the movies and saw Angels and Demons. It was pretty decent. I haven't heard much hype about it or read the book. It was like the DaVinici code as far as I can remember. It maybe was more like National Treasure where one clue leads to another clue and its a search to get to the end before its too late. It had some interesting twists in it though and it moved right along. The 30 min of trailers and previews before had almost made me fall asleep early though but I think that was a combination of us getting there early, having just ate at Tucanos, and it being a different theatre than I'm used to (maybe they always have long previews here).

On my Flickr page I have uploaded my photos from around Provo, UT. There are photos of mountains, an old truck, flowers, robins, and the Mount Timpanogos Temple. The photo on this post is taken from the Mount Timanogos Temple.
