Today I recieved some wonderful suprises in the mail from some friends on Etsy! They were so unexpected and really cheered me up! It has be rough being away from home; I'm on work detail in Wyoming until the end of September. But these really made my week!
Today I wasn't having such a great day. I went out into the field and it ended up raining most of the time. I was able to get one hole in before the storms got really bad. There was black clouds, high wind, lightning, and HAIL. Before I got back to paved roads the rain had wet the dirt/gravel roads so much that I was fishtailing going only 10mph! So I had to put it in 4-low to get out. Then when I was going back into the office I dropped all my maps in the middle of the road and they were soaked. Now they're all bent.
So when I got "home" tonight and went to the Post Office and found these suprise gifts from ChristieCottage and TXButterfly74 I was overjoyed! The gifts couldn't have found me at a better time. ChristieCottage sent me this cute slate pin with the word smile written on it! Perfect since I'm diggin in soil and rocks all day! I'm going to wear it to work tomorrow to try to cheer up the rest of my coworkers too. TxButterfly74 sent me a momma and baby Buttfreckle! I LOVE BUTTFRECKLES! All my Buttfreckles are back at home so its nice having new little fluffies here to keep me company. They make me so happy. :)
